I have the sweetest, most patient and considerate husband on the face of the Earth! three O'clock in the morning and he runs out to the store to get me an ice cream bar, and I didn't even whine for it! Yeah, I need to lose weight, but that's just a sweet thing to do. He's also gotten over LabRat being bright pink (I tried to even out the red color by washing him and he turned pink). He says we're living with the Pink Panther now. I didn't have the heart to tell him that the Pink Panther is a diamond. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've run out of unread reading materials again. Okay, that's not entirely true but how many David Bowie biographies does one person need to read? I just can't do another one. Anyway, I usually don't like to re-read, bit I haven't read the early Tom Robbins books in over 17 years, so I'm going to rediscover them. Re-reading much loved books must beat watching laye night/early morning cable offerings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've been trying to get in touch with Trick for a few days now. I hope he's not avoiding me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We called Lloyd (the realtor and ex-bartending buddy) twice today, about getting into the house. He didn't call back. Granted, we can't make an offer until Mom closes on the Dearborn Heights house, but it's kind of pissing me off that he's not showing us more places. Does the man not want a commission?
