I'm kind of getting back into the swing of things work-wise. Managed to list four dolls today and am working on a few more, along with a couple of assemblage art pieces. I'm also doing a multimedia thing on an old Edwin Edwards Campaign sign. Former Governer (current convict) Edwards personifies Louisiana politics. Corrupt and ruthess. Mom finally closed on the Michigan house, so now we have to get her back down here before somebody else makes an offer on the house we like. I don't know if it's my usual sunny outlook (jk), but I'm afraid that it's going to turn out that the place needs new plumbing. The low water pressure in the kitchen worries me. If we do go with that house, it needs a LOT of cosmetic work. What are people thinking when they put really bad vinyl tile on the floor of their LIVING ROOM? And don't get me started on the wall paper. E-GADS! Besides the floors (I hate doing floors), most of the cosmetic stuff will be fun to fix and change. That is assuming we get that place. Did I mention it's in the PERFECT neighborhood? Well, it is. Haven't heard from Trick in a while and haven't felt much like calling anybody. He's been writing in his diary, so he must be okay. Since rearranging the furniture in the livingroom, Olivia has started going outside again. She's made a game out of sitting on the Air conditioner, meowing to be let in, instead of just coming back the way she sneaks out (where the house is falling apart). It's been really cold (last night in the '20!), so going out to let her in is a real pain! Joe's home sick. I don't know if he's really ill, or just depressed from hating his job so much. I need to get the office in a state where he can work on his resume so he can find a happier gig.
