Here's one for you. My mother has convinced Joe that it would be better for her to buy the house next to hers, in Tennessee, and for us to move THERE. Now she'd already suggested the same to me and I, thinking that he'd decline, suggested she talk to Joe. Tennessee is beautiful and all but it is also very cold and West Morland doesn't have much going on. For all it's problems, New Orleans has kind of grown on me. Sure, the economy here ALWAYS sucks. Yeah, it's sinking into the ocean. Okay, termites are eating everything in the city, including our dilapitated apartment. The crime rate is horrible and literacy is thought to be for snobs. But it's also fairly warm. It has nice architecture. The plant life here is amazing. It has great galleries. And it's not full of bible thumping morons, like Tennessee. Anyway, it really is up to Joe. If he can get a really good job up there, preferably at a university, I'll pack our shit. In the very least, at least his resume is getting done! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Apparently only half the (2) people who voted so far think I should out the pedophile. I'll leave the poll up, but it looks like I'm not going to be the one to reveal his name and location. Maybe Trick should be the one to do it. He is closer to the situation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One disadvantage to haveing an apartment that is falling apart is that when it's really cold and windy outside, it's also really cold and windy inside. Walking out into my livingroom thios morning had me shivering so much that I thought I was having a seizure. If we're moving to chillier climes, I'm never NEVER leaving the well insulated house. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just got my first two swaps at Swappingtons going. A nice young lady is getting a brand new DVD of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and I'm getting a book on how to make what I hope will turn out to be really disturbing and demented dolls and puppets. I'm eyeing a book on making teddy bears, but ddon't have enough points yet. So be a good little d-lander and go over there, sign up and tell them abwhite sent you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Back to work for now. Today's post office day so I have to actually leave the house! Yeee Haw!
