Would sombody please explain the difference between a boycott and blacklisting to the Hollywood whiners? Their complaining is approaching pathetic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NYC is reporting a bunch of cancellations on trips to their city. I wonder how much of that is the war and how much is the smoking ban. Having to leave a bar or restaurant every time you want a cigarette takes a bit of the fun out of one's vacation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm trying to talk Joe into walking (four blocks) to get milk with me. He's determined to drive it. We both really need the exercise. I'm as big as a house and his breasts are larger than mine! I hope he doesn't read this... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our eccentric neighbor, Darryl, has one of his volvos parked in our backyard. I don't know how it happened, but it's turned into a giant beehive and the buggers keep getting into the house.
Since it's cooled off today, he promised to bomb them. I'll have to go remind him of this promise today, as I don't want a summer of getting stung in my own home! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our Landlord says he's fixing up the upstairs apartment and having the addition shored up. He doesn't seem to mind that the place is full of termites and will probably fall down within a couple of years. He's talking about taking the livingroom completely out of the upstairs and turning it into a third bedroom. I don't know who would want to rent a place with three bedrooms, no livingroom and a tiny kitchen, but good luck to him! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm off to try to get Joe to walk again.
