My computer was dead and in Metairie (awaiting repairs) for like two weeks. Bad timing, being broke and unemployed and all. It was a very grim two weeks.

26 years after their divorce, my mother's started getting back child support from my dead-beat, coward asshole father, William (Bill) Anton Schorer. It seems that Michigan's new governer has a real hard-on for dead-beat assholes and has gone after every one of them who's ever refused to pay support.
I'd have paid to see the expression on that sack of human detritus's face when his paycheck was first garnished after so many years.

I'm pregnant. Due in November.

We're hoping Mom uses some of the money she's getting from Bill Schorer to help us get a house.
She's saying she will, but she's not always the most dependable person.

It's getting really hot here. I refuse to turn the A/C on until May,but it's getting mighty uncomfortable.
