IT was either that or Mineaux (neighbor cat) would have been locked in his garage with food and water while he evacuated with the dog. He's not a cruel man, just has an unrealistic idea of feline survival skills. Anyway, Mineaux died yesterday morning. She was not young and died peacefully in her sleep after hours of purring while being petted and fed canned food. Still feel like shit about it, though. Through all of this and we couldn't even save the sweet neighbor cat. :(	2005-09-28 2:19 p.m.
