I've been obsessing over this Voodoo doll I'm working on. She's the most complicated piece I've ever attempted. I've put a lot into her, but she needs more decoration and I just don't know what to do. Maybe sew and bead on some flowers? Make her a Mardi Gras bead skirt? Arrrrgh! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Found the coolest website for artists, web designers and writers like...ever! (guess who isn't a writer) It's called Art Conspiracy. It has spaces for a variety of different types of galleries all under your own unique base page. The best part? It's free! Right now, I mostly have my Voodoo dolls there, but will try to incorporate the Tee Shirt thing once I have other pieces up. A whole lot of people seem to look at the galleries, so the exposure is great and could turn profitable! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joe rented a bunch of DVDs last night. The Ring was magnificent. The 2 DVD set of Kevin Smith's lectures at Universities was surprisingly entertaining. The man knows how to tell a story. Minority Report was total, over produced SHIT! There was a story to be told there and it was ignored in favor of special effects. When will the big directors learn that you don't have to sacrifice story development to make a effects heavy Science Fiction film? Horrible. I wouldn't even watch The Sum of All Fears. I'm sure looking at the litterbox would be a more pleasurable use of my time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Six Feet Under is on in about half an hour. I have a theory that the whole plot line with Nate being married to Lisa (Lilly Taylor LOVE her) is a hallucination from the surgery. They say Rachel Griffiths is coming back around episode five. Maybe that will be when Nate wakes up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My mother bought a van on Ebay. She also put down a deposit on a third Bengal kitten. Combined with her plans to buy all the land and houses on her block, she has a hell of a lot of money going out with NOTHING coming in. This worries me to no end. Sure, the cats will breed and make her money (if the kittens come out all right) and the van will help with the art and glass thing. But she hasn't workied on her glass in so long that it's going to be months before she gets the rust off enough to make salable items again. Out in Westmoreland, there's nothing going on, so she's going to have to market the sht out of herself on the internet and she's totally clueless on how to do that. She has lots of great ideas, but I'm afriad she'll be a pauper before they have a chance to pay off!
