This ought to make you smile! http://www.castleclark.com/available_kittens.htm This site needs LOADS of work, but the subject matter is adorable! Deacon is home with his parents. He has klebsiella pneumoniae and has been perscribed some killer antibiotics. Needless to say, if his parents hadn't taken infant CPR he would be dead or brain damaged right now. If you spend any time around babies or children, go take CPR at the Red Cross. They have CPR for infants, toddlers, adults, pets... you name it, there's a special type out there. My father-in-law is in high spirits. It seems every member of the family has a different take on what happened and why. Father-in-law thinks he's picked up some old bad habits (smoking for one) and it got to him. Mother-in-law thinks the guys at the part time job are a bad influence (apparently Father-in-law was their high school hero) and have him thinking he's indestructable and acting like a bit of a jackass. Brother-in-law is just plain scared. And Joe thinks Brother-in-law and Mother-in-law ride Father-in-law too much and this heart attack is from stress and smoking. I'm just glad that Father-in-law is alive, kicking and in high spirits. My in-laws are some of the kindest and most subtly clever people I've known and I absolutely adore each and every one of them. Mother-in-law is a born artist and her laugh isn't infectious, it's contagious! Father-in-law knows more about history than anybody I can think of, except maybe Douglas Brinkley. That he never got to study history formally would be a waste if he wasn't so happy with his life as it is. Brother-in-law can build just about anything and has a delicious sense of humor. Joe knows more about people and the way they work than anybody I know. He's also the most kind, tolerant man I've ever had the privelege of knowing. He's goofy and humble. The fact that he doesn't realize how bright he is, is both refreshing and frustrating. He's kind of cute, too. I hear Joe's alarm going off now, so I'd better wrap this up and get back to work. Don't want him to know I'm talking about his family online!
