Fight Club. If you're a fan of the film, you have got to read the book! It's much more intense than the book and the relationship with Marla is much more involved. The ending was totally different from and more believable than the end of the movie. Not to say that the book lowered my opinion of the film. Hell no. It was a great adaptation. If the book had been followed more closely, Fincher probably would have been stoned to death or something. I'm not the most eloquent reviewer, but please take my advice and read this book! Speaking of books, why is everyone freaking out over the suggested price of the new Harry Potter book? It's been a long while since I've been able to find a new hardcover book for less than they're asking and places like amazon are still only charging $18. Must be a slow entertainment news day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trick's taking other people's relationship nightmares too personally. And it's hurting his feelings. I've tried to remind him that he's ALWAYS known the score on that particular marriage and that their problems have nothing to do with him. Hell, they predate his even knowing these people! Still, it was a low blow for them to try to lay the blame for their dysfunction in his lap. I've never understood why people who so obviously hate eachother stay together. Maybe making other people unhappy distracts from their own marital misery. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some of my new Voodoo dolls are looking mighty groovy. Hope the collectors feel the same! I'm hoping to get a few more done in time to list a bunch on Tuesday! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joe's going to be up soon. I think I'll make him pancakes and coffee. Maybe I'll even iron his work clothes. Mr. Masters degree needs to start his week out on a high note!
