A few days ago, our dear, sweet Olivia got into a fight with one of the outside cats. She was bitten at the base of her tail. As soon as I saw the bite, I started putting peroxide and neosporin on the wounds. Two days ago, I noticed that the wounds were infected and one had turned into a deep, gaping hole. On top of that, poor Olivia was noticably sluggish and uncomfortable. Cats hide illness and pain until they simply can't anymore, so I knew it was serious. Joe and I rushed her to the vet and found out that the infection had gone very deep into her back and that she needs to spend several days there, getting treatment. This is $25 a day, plus $25 a procedure for maybe 2 weeks. We can't afford this. I mean we literally don't have the money and we have no credit. My mother has offered to help up to a couple hundred dollars. From there it's up to us. So..... I'm going to be listing several things on Ebay this afternoon. A few I've made but mostly things we own. I'm asking that anyone reading this visit my ebay auctions and see if there's anything they might like to own. If there's something you like, please bid on it. If it comes to it, I am prepared to pawn my engagement ring, to cover the balance. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that! At the last minute, Joe decided not to go to Dr. Brinkley's book launch. I was extremely disappointed and a little angry. Dr. Brinkley was disappointed. Joe has seen the error of his ways. Don't forget to get yourself some cool stuff and fight AIDS at the same time by visiting these shops (100% of the profits go to AmFAR).
